Welcome to the Gaddum design project area.
We're designing a mobile phone app.
Our app has just 2 main requirements. Bringing people together with music, and choosing music, based on mood.
Here's a quick look at how:
This is where we're displaying the design illustrations for the features which we have described on our Trello board. (Trello is a website which helps us with the design work)
The 'Features' Trello board is where we go through the process of working out how the app is going to fulfill its requirements.
To help us think about the features better, we think about the sorts of people who are going to use our app. We write short descriptions, called 'user stories', about what a person wants to do with the app (like, choose some music) and how the features of the app might help them do that.
You can see some user stories on another Trello board, here
When we have a reasonable understanding of the features, we illustrate them using a prototyping tool.
You can see some of the illustrations, below. Each one has a user story or some description to go with it. You can see the description, by pressing the little menu button, in the very top right of the demonstration. It looks like this:

The prototypes don't look quite like the final app will look, but all the bits and buttons which will be used are in the right place. We'll colour and texture things later on during development.
Have a look!
